Customer Education Specialist - Wayne, NJ

The Specialist I Customer Education works with the  Global Therapy Development Team to develop and implement training programs and tools to support customer product education and onboarding tools and training programs for the Sales Team to deliver these customer programs. The position provides clear and concise information to employees and customers to give them a basic understanding of training programs and methods.

Job Function:

  • Assure that all elements are in place to deliver core customer training programs and lectures to external customers by presenting material using a variety of methods (such as lectures, training, e-learning, etc.).
  • Work with the Global Therapy Development Team to assure that all curriculums are defined and that the Global Therapy Development Team continually assesses and analyzes customer requirements and training needs.
  • Work with the Global Therapy Development Team and management to implement, track, and maintain e-learning programs on our e-learning site for both employees and customers.
  • Assist with training materials to maximize impact and minimize training time by determining the target audience, time and location requirements and other applicable factor along with the Global Therapy Development Team.
  • Remain aware of all changes that may impact training requirements by seeking out information that may change the clinical process and implementing changes/improvements to training protocols and materials accordingly.
  • Work with the Management to ensure that post-training results meet organizational targets and expectations by collecting and analyzing post-training data.
  • Coordinate customer training sessions and efforts by making the necessary logistical arrangements for training rooms, course materials, catering.
  • Monitor and update the employee on line training site.
  • The position requires travel of approximately 10%.

Required Skills and Abilities:

  • Self-starter with ability to work with limited supervision.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.
  • Detail-oriented and knowledgeable in logistics.
  • Effective presentation skills.
  • Must be able to communicate at all levels within the organization both orally and written.
  • Basic to intermediate skills in Microsoft Word, PowerPoint and Excel with CRM tools.
  • Knowledge and understanding of Learning Management Systems.

Experience and Education Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree or an equivalent combination of education and relevant work experience.
  • 2+ years of related experience with a good understanding of specified functional area.
