Our International Customer Service Representative will provide professional and efficient customer service for our OUS Sales & Service units (SSU’s) and OEM customers by processing purchase orders in a timely manner. Work jointly with our OUS Sales offices to help build and foster a trusted partnership by satisfying the requirements of their customers on a worldwide basis. Work closely with various internal departments, US & EU Distribution Centers, Sales, Marketing and Service Directors.

Job Functions:

  • Primary contact between OUS Sales offices, So. Brunswick & Eindhoven distribution centers and our OEM customers. 
  • Investigate and resolve various disputes, update shipping status and investigate unauthorized returns.
  • Process Standard sales orders, Return sales orders and Planning Dept. sales orders (STO’s). Create and maintain scheduling agreements received from planners. Process and issues Credits and Debits relating to; return sales orders, freight bills and miscellaneous issues.
  • Monitors all aspects of the order process which includes purchase order review for discrepancies and ensures they are in compliance with company policies and approval guidelines, checking product availability and ensuring proper ship-to location and forwarders are available in our ERP system.
  • Ensures orders are entered timely, accurately and sends order acknowledgment along with any other documentation to the SSU that may be needed to complete the order on their end for shipment.
  • Resolves order fulfillment, shipping and return issues and provides low to mid-end technical product information as the US contact for Sales and OUS SSU offices. 
  • Daily distribution of invoices, CI’s and related export documents to Sales via email. 
  • Enters sales views as requested from various departments. 
  • Acts as primary liaison with planning to determine if customer ship date requirements can be met.
  • Ensures customer and country requirements are detailed and defined during order processing. 

Required Skills and Abilities:

  • PC proficient in a Windows environment. 
  • Proven ability to communicate effectively through written documents and presentation.

  • Demonstrated skills in teamwork effectiveness across all functional areas.
  • Ability to handle multiple priorities simultaneously.
  • Effective interpersonal skills and empowerment – ability to effectively make decisions.

  • Ability to organize work and follow through independently.
  • The ability to manage priorities in order to meet deadlines and time requirements is desired.

Experience and Education Requirements:

  • High School diploma required. Bachelor’s Degree or an equivalent combination of education and relevant work experience preferred.
  • 0-1 years’ previous business experience, preferably in an international customer service and/or sales support environment.
