Sales Reporting Analyst II (Wayne, NJ)

Position Summary:

The Sales Reporting Analyst II will be part of a dynamic and fast paced environment responsible for maintaining and enhancing a comprehensive sales reporting database, that supports the reporting requirements of the diverse sales and service businesses of the Getinge organization. The position will be responsible for fulfilling standardized and ad-hoc reporting requirements, and managing the reporting needs of the Field Sales and Service teams.  The Analyst is required to have proven experience supporting field employees and able to multi-task reporting capabilities along with supporting an internal client group.

Job Details

  • Maintain and enhance databases to facilitate the sales reporting process.
  • Manage monthly sales reporting process. This involves extracting sales data, tracings and adjustments.
  • Audit continuously all systems (Database, SAP, COGNOS) to ensure consistency of data across all systems.
  • Compile and validate ‘President’s Club’ report for monthly Sales Team rankings and annual award determinations.
  • Serve as a liaison between assigned client group Sales team and the IT COGNOS team.
  • Compile and validate monthly forecast analysis to the Senior Management and field team.
  • Partner with the supervisor/Manager to develop an understanding of various reports and sales tools required by field sales team.
  • Manage field inquiries regarding performance, historical sales trends, account/product level detail.
  • Partner with the Supervisor/Manager to develop bi-annual Sales Plans for the Field Sales team.
  • Track quarterly spiffs and validate the results prior to submitting to compensation.
  • Manage sales rep to customer accounts alignment on as need basis.
  • Provide Ad-hoc Analysis and reporting as requested.     
  • Maintain and enhance both automated and standard reports in COGNOS for use by the sales field
  • Responsible for working and developing productive relationships with various functions including: field based employees, management, and internal departments such as Finance, Sales Compensation, Marketing and Service.
  • Build Quality into all aspects of their work by maintaining compliance to all quality requirements.
  • Partners closely and supports Field based Service employees and senior management.
  • Maintains and enhances cross-functional relationships with internal departments such as Finance, Sales Compensation, Marketing and Service.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree or an equivalent combination of education and relevant experience.
  • A minimum of 2 years related experience in data management and reporting.
  • Proven experience in data management and reporting, preferably in the Medical Device industry.
  • Proven Experience supporting field based employees and Sr. Management.
  • Attention to detail and accuracy/integrity of data required.
  • Ability to synthesize various, independently generated, data points into a cohesive analysis. 
  • Excellent analytical, interpersonal, organizational and critical thinking skills.
  • Strong verbal and written communications skills required.
  • Demonstrated ability to partner with cross functional teams while handling multiple projects.
  • Ability to multi-task and manage shifting priorities.
  • Experience using sales-related software applications (SAP, COGNOS, SALESFORCE etc.)
  • Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel and Access.  Intermediate skills in VBA.
