Marketing Intern - Wayne, NJ

The Marketing Intern position is for a current undergraduate/MBA student interested in joining the US Marketing team and focus on US Servo u/n SW2.1 product launch and tactical implementation.  The Intern will support the product launch with collateral development, knowledge transfer, and acting as a docking station for sales questions and follow-ups.  They will also be asked to make recommendations about the future needs for related SW launches.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Proactively initiate meetings with key stakeholders to ensure all necessary awareness and alignment are obtained throughout the launch process, and actively solicit and employ feedback into the project to achieve the desired outcomes.
  • Rapidly learn mechanical ventilation product offering and differences between SW 2.1 and SW 1.14 and Servo I software
  • Complete launch activities and cascade to sales force and other key stakeholders
  • Work independently on SW 2.1 APP simulation tool creation
  • Make recommendations on how to drive value to target market and ways to implement.
  • Independently drive all tasks associated with on-time completion of project goals & deliverables.
  • Ensure self-awareness to appropriately adjust both behaviors and project priorities to create leadership presence in the organization and ensure achievement of the end of goal of the projects.
  • Create awareness through tasteful self-promotion of project activities and leadership behaviors being employed that lead to successful completion.
  • Challenge the status quo.  Always be cognizant of the end goal to ensure it is right for the business and our customers, we’ve exhausted all feasible opportunities to make it as big as possible, & identify and challenge and steps along the way in which we need to think differently in order to drive success, change the way we do business internally, or change the game externally.

Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

  • Skilled at proofreading and editing English
  • Comfortable with health care including surgery situations
  • Effective, clear information presentation/communication abilities
  • Excellent organizational skills and ability to multi-task
  • Attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Comfortable with changing priorities while still achieving goals
  • Understanding of analytics and have an appreciation for financial parameters
  • Works well both independently and in team setting
  • Intermediate skills in Word, PowerPoint and Outlook and Excel
  • Ability to work  10 or more hours a week
  • Must be able to travel up to 25%.
