Job Summary:  Supports research, product development and manufacturing efforts.

Job Functions

  • Functional testing of implantable and disposable medical devices and components.
  • Assist in development and validation of test methods.
  • Analyzes and documents test results.
  • Performs basic statistical calculations to verify data entry integrity.
  • Assist with calibration, validation and maintenance of test equipment.
  • Participates in the design of test fixtures.
  • Assist with Develop Change Orders and Pilot Shop orders.
  • Assists in special projects as needed.
  • Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related duties as required.

Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities: 

  • Strong troubleshooting ability along with experience with testing of material properties such as tension or compression, measure dimensional characteristics and other related attributes. 
  • Demonstrated test method development and validation skills (i.e conduct GR&R and analyze data).
  • Ability to work cooperatively with employees from all disciplines and levels of management. 
  • Knowledge of Good Documentations Practices (GDP).

Minimum Requirements:  

  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • A minimum of three years’ experience in a manufacturing environment or related field. 
  • Strong communication skills both oral and written (English).
  • Strong MS Office (Word/Excel) and MiniTab (or other statistical software programs) skills.
