As an Installation Project Specialist for Getinge, your primary mission will be to provide installation services and 3rd party installation oversight at assigned customer accounts/projects.  Primary duties of this regionally based position include but are not limited to:

  • Provide installation services at customer establishments in accordance with established procedures and techniques, using proper tools, test equipment and components. Supervise both union and non-union contractors on installation of Getinge USA products.
  • Perform installation training at customer establishments for Getinge certified contractors.  Provide feedback to Installation Manager on contractor progress and capability.
  • Work closely with designated Project Manager and/or Installation Manager on jobs to secure proper coordination of all installation activities.
  • As requested, represent company interests at pre-installation meetings.  Interface with customers pertaining to work requirements and protocols.
  • Ensure all site labor is aware of site requirements ( for example, working hours, safety equipment and training, reporting structure, etc)
  • Provide equipment start-up service, verifying equipment operation per manufacturer specification.  Instruct customer personnel and local Service Technicians (if applicable), in the operation and proper use of the equipment.
  • Comply with all health and safety codes and procedures, as mandated by Getinge policies, customer/contractor requirements and regulatory agencies.
  • Establish and maintain positive and cooperative working relationships with customers, contractors and all Getinge personnel.
  • As required during equipment start-up, provide warranty service in accordance with the terms and conditions stated in Getinge published warranty policies.
  • Maintain personal competence for meeting job responsibilities, through effective use of product information and technical data, provided by Getinge and others.  Participate in training seminars, meetings and on-the-job training programs.
  • Accurately prepare and submit all required reports, within the timeframe specified by the Installation Manager.
