Job Function Summary:

The Intern will be responsible for providing support to the Commissions team in the administration of the commission compensation programs. The position assists in ensuring that documentation is current, and supports the reporting and analysis of the Commissions team.


Job Functions: (Primary “essential” duties and responsibilities)  

  • Assists in auditing the commission database and tracking movements for field based employees.
  • Work closely with the commission’s team to maintain the adjustment database and ensure accuracy and integrity of data incorporated by month into all associate sales commissions statements, which involve multiple adjustments each month.
  • Support audit of payroll through maintenance and creation of excel worksheets.  Adhere to outlier check process provided and review for additional audit opportunities. 
  • Provide assistance with auditing statements to identify outlier and verify True Up, Adjustments, Proration, etc.
  • Participate in the development of Annualent sales employeesoyees sibilies as assigned  Sales Commission Databases that incorporate financial budgets and compensation plans. 
  • Assist with the analysis and verification of sales compensation utilizing multiple data setsin Excel and Access.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Required Skills and Abilities:

  • Detail oriented with excellent organizational and time management skills
  • Ability to take ownership and provide follow through on assigned responsibilities
  • Demonstrated problem-solving experience and improving processes
  • Ability to manage multiple responsibilities at one time with completion and follow through on all.
  • Strong quantitative and analytical skills.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to communicate effectively in oral and written form.
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Access preferred.


Experience and Education Requirements:

  • Enrolled in the completion of a degree or already completed a degree in Human Resources, Finance, Business or related field, or an equivalent combination or education and relevant experience.
  • Previous internship experience preferred
  • A minimum of 1-year job experience.
