The Manager of QA logistics Americas will be responsible for establishing and maintaining the Quality Management System compliant with Getinge processes and with international standards/regulations (ISO9001; ISO13485 and FDA 21 CFR part 820) within Getinge Logistics Americas.  As quality representative, Manager of QA Logistics Americas ensures monitoring and effectiveness assessment of the processes within established Quality management system and supervise continuous improvement within defined processes and activities.Establish and maintain processes, procedures and guidance in compliance with global SOP and Directives for the Shared Logistic hub Americas.

Responsibilities include:

  • Perform Management reviews in collaboration with the management representative and report performance of QMS to Logistics Executive Management
  • Implement Quality Policy and objectives for the shared Logistic hub Americas. Be sure they are understood by all the logistic center staff
  • Perform internal audits and represent Getinge shared Logistic hub Americas during external audits
  • Define and manage KPi’s for QA Logistics
  • Implement and manage an incoming  inspection team
  • Ensure test equipment have sufficient calibration and verification and is suitable for defined verification and testing activities
  • Established a validated process for Environmental requirements
  • Travel - 25% of the focus will be to travel worldwide for manufacturing plant visits, boards meeting and project management

Experience

  • A minimum of 5 years at a manager level in a logistic company or managing a QA logistics function in a regulated environment.
  • A minimum of 5 years hands-on experience in Quality Assurance for Logistic, Experience managing multiple locations is preferred.
  • Hands-on experience in establishing and overseeing a compliant quality system.  Experience managing direct reports and proven ability to influence indirect reports is required. 
  • Bachelor’s Degree or Master’s Degree in Logistics, Enginerring or related field or equivalent work experience is required..
  • Strong Knowledge of standards/regulations (ISO9001; ISO13485 and FDA 21 CFR part 820 is required.
