Pricing Membership Analyst


Position Summary

The Pricing Membership Analyst is part of the Contracts & Pricing team, responsible for supporting all aspects of Group Purchasing Order and Integrated Delivery Network membership, as well as contract and pricing alignment.  The Membership Analyst also supports efforts to assist customers in updating information and producing outputs to effectively meet business needs.  Managing GPO and IDN membership is critical to ensuring all eligible customers are set up to receive correct pricing as well as subsequent administrative fees and potential rebates.  The position requires the ability to support cross-functional teams and the ability to translate and manage multiple projects with conflicting deadlines. 


Job Details

  • Update SAP with GPO affiliation changes for compliant contracts and identify contracts that do not require Letters of Commitment (LOCs). 
  • Track recent mergers and acquisitions to identify potential changes in GPO affiliations.
  • Manage field inquiries regarding GPO affiliation, GPO pricing, and quote validation.
  • Work closely with Corporate Accounts and Contract Analysts to identify enhancements to reporting and database management.
  • Design custom reports for use by department, management and affiliates.
  • Support the analyst and work with Customer Service groups on price loads and discrepancy resolution. 
  • Support day-to-day Membership tasks as required.

Qualifications

  • Associate Degree or an equivalent combination of education and relevant work experience.
  • 1 to 2 years related experience. 
  • Knowledge of pricing or sales support-related functions.
  • Exposure to sales-related software applications such as SAP is preferred.
  • Detail oriented with excellent organizational and time management skills
  • Able to find solutions and deal proactively handle with work related challenges.
  • Able to develop and sustain positive relationships with internal as well as external customers.
  • Able to juggle multiple responsibilities at one time with completion and follow through.
  • Excellent quantitative and analytical skills.
  • Able to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to communicate effectively in oral and written form.
  • Intermediate skills in Microsoft Excel, Word, Access and/or other applications.
