T-Doc Implementation Specialist

The T-Doc Implementation Specialist will Perform implementation of Getinge T-DOC system and modules, as well as NetCOM connectivity systems, and provide a high level of customer service around all T-DOC project details. 

This role will be located in Vancouver, BC.

The Position

This role is responsible for:

  • Perform implementations of T-DOC system and modules, inclusive of preparing for an installation, performing an installation, training Administrators and Users, working with CSSD (and other departments as needed) in a professional manner, and conduct other implementation-related work as capable. (Details of work expectations are documented in the T-DOC Implementation Process and Policies document.)
  • Perform project related functions, as related to respective T-DOC equipment, comprising of coordination of all internal tasks required to effectively execute a project. This includes coordination of installation, start-up, final documentation, and resolution of start-up issues.
  • Under the supervision of the T-DOC Project Manager, work independently making decisions as related to proper project execution, included but not limited to specification compliance and system design efficacy. Interact directly with customers, hospital IT/IS, vendors and internal personal to assure successful completion of projects within time and budgetary constraints.
  • Support T-DOC field sales personnel and T-DOC Project Manager with implementation planning and technical sales questions & answers.
  • Work with the T-DOC Project Manager to verify installation priorities with the T-DOC Team and customers to ensure installation and implementation needs are met in a timely fashion.
  • Provide prompt, professional and courteous installation of T-DOC products and services.
  • Provide implementation of T-DOC products and services, including but not limited to in-service training, go-live supervision as needed, customer seminars, and product demonstrations to ensure customer satisfaction as required.
  • Support installations via remote services, telephone or on-site troubleshooting to meet guaranteed response times.
  • Ensure adherence to company quality system processes, protocols and SOP’s.
  • Establish and maintain positive and cooperative working relationships with customers and colleagues, conducting themselves in a professional and responsible manner at all times.
  • Maintain personal competence for meeting job responsibilities through effective use of product information and technical data provided by the company and others.
  • Participate in training seminars, meetings and on-the-job training programs.  Demonstrate a deep and thorough understanding, and an ability to apply concepts and knowledge obtained from these training and skill development sources.
  • Participate in regional and national trade shows when required.
  • Perform other related duties as required or assigned.

Experience, knowledge and abilities:

  • Minimum one (1) years hands-on related technical IT experience in a device tracking and/or asset management environment.
  • Customer training and/or support experience.
  • Knowledge and experience in healthcare medical device decontamination and sterile processing workflow procedures will be a major plus.
  • Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Windows Operating systems.
  • Strong working knowledge of personal computer hardware and software, desktop operating systems, firewall, security, VPN networks, client server technology, etc.
  • Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Excel; working knowledge of SQL a plus.
  • Must occasionally utilize hand tools to install, connect and test T-DOC modules, connectivity modules and/or test instrumentation to monitor equipment function.
  • Must be able to respond to inquiries and communicate with others by computer, via network and via telephone.
  • Must be able to interpret and manipulate data from computer-generated reports, software programs, technical manuals and written correspondence.
  • Must be able to lift up to 35 pounds.
  • Must have a valid driver’s license.
  • Able to travel within Canada and International up to 70% with flexible working hours.
